If you changed your web site and a page of it has changed the url, every one using the old address may not be able to find the new page and will end with an error or a wrong page.
This has happened to me when I decided to move the DEDALU project site to my Home Page. Hence a redirect to the new page could be a good idea for at least two reasons:
A new template for the site. Yes, I think that it's time for fresh air. This is why I set up a new template for my site, even if color scheme may change in the future.
